  - Political Process		President-elect Michelle Bachelet names 10 women to her cabinet - January 30, 2006 - President-elect Michelle Bachelet named 10 women to her 20-person cabinet as part of her commitment to implement a new style of government.  Women were appointed to key cabinet positions for the economy and mining, as well as health and defense, which were the two positions previously held by Michelle Bachelet earlier in her career.
